All Kids Play Ball - Early beginnings
My name is Marco, I am a general manager of a minor national team for the Orleans Little League Baseball. I was hoping to have my team participate in a tournament or two this summer. I quickly discovered the lack of tournament opportunities for teams like ours, due to criteria and age. Many of you suggested why not host a tournament. And so, with my luck of great parents who are super enthused about hosting a tournament despite all the hard work needed, we found ourselves reaching out to all of you. Many of you responded with great support.What this tournament is about?
This tournament if for the kids that love the game of baseball, that want to develop and that want the opportunity to play in a tournament that until now is not available to them given their level of play. Hence the name, OLLB's ALL KIDS PLAY BALL tournament.When will the tournament take place?
It will run July 21st to July 23rd, 2017.What is the cost to enter a team?
We are asking for $350 team fee, so we can cover the costs of running this tournament. Depending on how many teams (hoping for 6 inspiring for 8), we will have a tournament that will ensure your team plays three games, round robin, semi final, and final, with medals for teams, and a trophy to win.We thank those that are interested but registration is now closed.
